While our State Fair Rose Show has been cancelled this year, that doesn’t mean the Show can’t go on! As we continue to socially distance, we will get together for a virtual rose show instead.
The Greater Milwaukee Rose Society invites all members to enter the online-only 2020 Rose Show. Rose friends from other local rose societies are also invited. We will be hosting the show on our new website. As this is not an official American Rose Show, we’ve customized the structure so that it is easier for you to enter.
In summary, you’ll take a few photos and send them along with the requirements to the GMRS email address. We will be posting entries on our website for all to enjoy and for review during the judging process.
While photography is key in helping the judges determine the best in the classes, this is not a photography competition. Make sure your photos are clear and present your subject matter well.
Have some fun and share your roses with everyone. Don’t wait until the last day to send them in as the sooner you send them, the more roses will be available for everyone to view and enjoy.

Deadline for Entries: August 9,2020 Winners Announced: August 15, 2020
Don’t Wait!! Entries are accepted from now thru August 9th and will be shared on our new website
Important Instructions: EMAIL YOUR ENTRY (ONE ENTRY PER EMAIL) AND INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Your first and last name
- Name of your cultivar
- Entry Class
- Photos for that entry, there are two photos required for each entry in the Horticulture and Arrangement Classes
- All entries will be posted to a gallery on our Greater Milwaukee Rose Society website by August 15th
- Visit the website often to enjoy all the beautiful photos of the roses!
